Competition Rules

Welcome to Oiskos.com. These Competition Rules govern all contests, challenges, and video competitions hosted on Oiskos. By submitting an entry, you agree to these Rules in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

• Be an actively enrolled college student at the time of registration and submission.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a verified Oiskos account.
• Reside in a location where participation and reward receipt are legally permitted.

You may be required to provide proof of enrollment, such as a .edu email, current class schedule, or student ID. Falsified or unverifiable information may result in disqualification.

2. Entry Requirements

1. Submit original content that meets the specific contest theme and requirements.
2. Upload the submission within the published entry period.
3. Agree to all terms and policies during submission.

Each submission must:

• Be created by the participant and owned entirely by them.
• Not include copyrighted music, images, or footage without written permission.
• Not contain offensive, unlawful, or inappropriate material.
• Follow all Oiskos content guidelines.

3. Judging & Winner Selection

• Contest judging criteria will be published on each competition page.
• Judges may include Oiskos staff, partners, or invited evaluators.
• All judging decisions are final.
• Public voting or engagement may influence results, but Oiskos reserves the right to weigh scores and remove suspicious votes.

4. Rewards

• Rewards will be clearly stated for each competition. In most cases, Oiskos competitions are expected to award digital badges, rankings, featured placement, or other digital recognition.
• Oiskos or a sponsor may also offer other prizes for specific competitions, including sponsored products, experiences, credits, or monetary prizes, if those are clearly described on that competition.
• Where a sponsored or monetary prize is offered, Oiskos may require additional eligibility, identity, tax, or delivery information before the prize is issued.
• Oiskos may substitute a reward of equal or greater value if necessary.

All rewards are non-transferable and non-refundable unless the specific competition states otherwise.

5. Legal Responsibilities

Participants and winners are responsible for complying with applicable laws in their jurisdiction. If a competition includes a sponsored or monetary prize, the winner is responsible for any legal, tax, or reporting obligations associated with accepting that prize.

6. Verification of Winners

Before awarding rewards, Oiskos may require proof of identity or college enrollment and confirm that all eligibility and submission requirements have been met.

7. Disqualification

You may be disqualified and forfeit any reward if:

• You submit false or misleading information.
• You plagiarize or submit someone else’s work.
• You use fake engagement or violate site integrity.
• You break any law or breach Oiskos’s Terms of Service.

8. Intellectual Property

By entering, you retain ownership of your content but grant Oiskos a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, promote, and share your content in connection with the competition, use entries in marketing or platform promotion, and feature winning submissions on the site or social channels.

9. Publicity & Media Use

By participating, you grant Oiskos the right to use your first name, college, and competition entry in winner announcements, promotions, or advertising unless you opt out by contacting us before results are published.

10. Technical Issues

Oiskos is not responsible for lost, late, or incomplete submissions, internet outages, technical malfunctions, data loss, or errors in scoring, display, or communication. If technical issues compromise fairness, Oiskos may modify, suspend, or cancel a competition.

11. General Conditions

• Oiskos may modify, delay, or cancel any competition at its discretion.
• These Rules are governed by the laws of Illinois, USA.
• Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Kendall County, Illinois.
• Void where prohibited.
